Lessons are worked around your personal aims and ambitions. During your first lessonI will establish your playing level and discuss your goals. It’s important to me that you
get what you want out of a lesson. This could be studying for exam grades, learning to
improvise or just having fun.
Private lessons are given on a 1-2-1 basis and tailored to your requirements and level of
playing ability. If you’d like to learn a song by your favourite band then I will work to
incorporate these into structured lessons.
Group Lessons are held at The Warehouse, Cumberland Road, East Reading. The groups
are kept small and are a great ways of meeting other guitar players.
For those students wishing to take guitar examinations. The RGT is the worlds foremost
organisation for guitar education and arranges courses in acoustic, electric, classical and
bass guitar – from total beginner to Diploma level. All qualifications are accredited by the
London College of Music & Media (one of the worlds most respected music examination
boards, established in 1887). As a student you can save yourself years of struggling by
being taught how to play properly from the start. Whether or not you want to take exams,
studying with the RGT will help you develop your playing in a comprehensive way
