Darren began playing at the age of twelve. Coupled with good tuitionand plenty of practice his playing progressed quickly. As a teenager
he played in plenty of bands playing covers ranging from Pop to Heavy
Metal. Further education resulted in a degree suplemented with
various audio production courses.
From here he went onto work in various top UK studios such as The
Dairy in Brixton and Jacobs (then based in Farnham, Surrey). He was
lucky enough to work with artists such as Natalie Imbruglia, Doves,
Newton Faulkner, Duran Duran, Big Brovaz etc Working in the studio
also gave Darren the opportunity to play guitar on various tracks for
artists such as Estelle and So Solid Crew. These tracks have been played
on BBC Radio One and MTV etc Darren has over eight years teaching experience and has taught a wide
range of ages and abilities
